Java 8 Stream.map() example.


Stream.map() method returns a stream consisting of the results of applying the given function to the elements of this stream. We can use Stream.map() function for transforming the objects based on the input method. The given below example, converts all string elements in upper case.

import java.util.Arrays;
import java.util.List;

public class StreamMapEx {

	public static void main(String a[]) {

		List<String> vehicles = Arrays.asList("bus", "car", "bicycle", "flight", "train");

}

Output:

What is daemon thread?
